I was always the skinny girl in school. Never thought I would struggle with weight like I do, but someone forgot to tell me that once you hit your 20s and you are not in school sports, your metabolism will slow down. As a result I have struggled with my weight for the better part of my adult life. Having 3 babies just added to my weight loss struggle. About 3 years ago I was able to get some weight off (about 30 lbs) but I got pregnant soon after. After my son was born I felt incredibly frustrated and have tried many different approaches to losing the weight again. I can't even count how many times I have lost and gained back 10 lbs.

This year I am more determined than ever. I turn 35 this year and I really want to reach my goals and not be consumed about my weight any longer.

My Goals:
I have a number in my head that I think sounds good, but more than a number on the scale, my real goal is to get rid of my "muffin top!"

I have the most stubborn belly fat on the planet and I want to see it GONE!

My Program:
Although I will be tracking my food in take, I plan to focus mainly on burning calories through cardio exercises at the gym. I have also included weight training into the mix and hope to see some significant results by this summer.

Occupation: I am a SAHM with a background in Graphic Design and Journalism

Hobbies: Photography, Scrapbooking, Stamping... almost anything crafty.

I also love to entertain, and cook for my friends and family (which is another reason why it's hard to lose weight).

    thank you so much for the encouragement to set even smaller goals... I think I will set teh goal to work out 1x at curves as you suggested and to do situps or something on the days I do not do curves. THANKS so much, you are an inspiration.

    I have been surprised how much more difficult it has been to lose weight at my older age of 30. I knew it would be harder but this is bordering ridiculous! lol. I don't think it helps my having moved to the city. There is a lot less physical work to be done in town than where I lived before, out in the country. Oh well, I'll get it done!! And so will you!
