Send Motivation My Way Please

Hello everyone! I'm a 46 years old, been married 20 years and have two boys -- aged 13 and 18. I enjoy scrapbooking, quilting, reading, bike riding and wine! A perfect day is spent outdoors doing something!

Currently I'm in a really good place and have been doing well on my journey. I've lost 30 pounds and have 4 more to go! I am motivated to keep working on it!

I have definitely found a LOVE of bike riding through this journey! I really enjoy riding long distances ...

But next major goal is a Spring Triathlon! Now to learn how to swim and and run :)

My Goals:
Time to reevaluate the goals! I've accomplished the short terms last set so time to make new ones!

Goal 1: Drink 8 glasses of water!

Goal 2: Get at least 30 minutes of movement in a day -- no excuses -- at minimal walk the dog myself!!!

Goal 3: Hit goal weight by November 15th.

Goal 4: Attend 2 spin classes a week and at least one road ride until snow/ice hits the grounds!

Goal 5: Be able to swim 8 lengths of the pool by February.

Goal 6: Walk/Run a 5k in 40 minutes by December 31st.

Goal 7: Participate in Spring Triathlon in April!

Long term goals:

Goal 1: Bike the entire D & R Canal Path!

Goal 2: Run an entire 5K (no walking)!

Goal 3: Tour de Cure 60 mile ride

Goal 4: Century Ride

Goal 5: Anchor 500 Mile Ride (over 7 days)

My Program:
Now that the weather is turning cool I'll have to change my strategy up again. The Bike Yourself Slim will be on hold for a while.

But now that I've decided to do a triathlon in April I'm training for that with rotations of swim/bike/walk/jog. I've also added yoga for some flexibility. So I need to stick to doing that. Biggest hurdle is remembering not coming right home from work is ok because once I get there all I'm going to do is still on my tukish and watch tv!

Food wise I'm logging consistently and making better choices. Logging has been my key to staying on track.

Hi My name is Melissa, I live in Trenton NJ and have 2 boys and a hubby of 20 years. I work 40 hours a week as an administrative assistant/marketing coordinator for a large ophthalmology practice.

Other Information:
I enjoy scrapbooking, quilting and reading. I also enjoy the outdoors -- beach, hiking, camping, bike riding. Unfortunately there are not enough hours to do everything so I get what I can when I can!

Yup, got my fitbit.So far I like it. Will you be there Thursday? Barb is running it. Katrine won't be there. We're chatting about ways to be more supportive and find what kind of support you need. Just some FYI.

Glad you made it home safe and sound. The trainer was worried and couldn't find her phone so she wanted me to call you. Good job getting all that extra movement in! I guess I'll be seeing you thursday. Please refresh my memory. What time? Care to meet me in front of the regular building to take me where I gotta go?

Haven't seen you around lately. Hope you're doing great.

How's the riding going? I made hubby bring the bikes on vacation. The kids loved riding. I even have my little one in spin at the gym. She says its addictive. LOL.

Let me know when you're back to the gym, maybe we can Zumba together or have a cup of tea after our workouts.
