Don't Forget to Breathe

I'm a stay-at-home mom of three kids 3 and under (including a set of twins). In what now seems like a past life I used to be a health educator, microbiologist, and dancer. Now my days are fun and very hectic at home, trying to raise a healthy and happy family. I'm trying to make an effort to make myself a priority too, in terms of taking care of myself.

I'm a stay-at-home mom of three kids 3 and under (including a set of twins). In what now seems like a past life I used to be a health educator, microbiologist, and dancer. Now my days are fun and very hectic at home, trying to raise a healthy and happy family. I'm trying to make an effort to make myself a priority too, in terms of taking care of myself.

I've lost the 50 lbs that I gained with the twins in a few short months; feeling very lucky about that. Now I want to conquer the last 5-10 lbs so that I'm back at my healthiest weight of 135 lbs, where I feel the most confident (and the weight at which all my clothes fit). I get close and then I gain again...Food- and exercise-tracking is what does the trick for me, as well as community support/accountability.

I love cooking wholesome meals with organic and non-processed foods as much as possible. I love baking and creating new meals. I love exercising too - dancing, moving, weight-lifting, kickboxing... It's all a matter of making the time to DO IT! :-)

My username and my profile pic reflect how I feel when I DON'T take care of myself. I'm usually not a crabby person ;-)
