Getting back on track!!!

Before joining SP I lost 74lbs. December 2006 I hit my all time high of 356lbs. I decided that I did not want to keep going up that I need to do something about it. By May of 2007 I lost 50lbs. I than fell off the wagon and went back up 20lbs. Through battling for my mom's life and lost I bounced around the 330lb mark. November 2007 my doctor sent me to a Nutritionist to learn how to eat healthy. I so wanted to get this weight off for the sake of health. I was also in a relationship ...

November 2007 my doctor sent me to a Nutritionist to learn how to eat healthy. I so wanted to get this weight off for the sake of health. I was also in a relationship with an amazing supportive man. I did very well with the small changes the nutrionist made with me. At least what started small. She taught me a lot. She was always asking me to journal my food. I would start and stop and start and stop. I lost 52lbs in 2008. I was pleased but wanted to loose more and learn to journal more.

My dear friend Laura from Texas introduced me to Sparkpeople. What an amazing sight. I loved how easy it is to journal. I showed my nutritionist the sight and gave her my information so she can see my food journals. She was very excited about it as well.

I decided that eating wasn't enough and with the cold Canadian winters I decided to start going to my brother's house to use his treadmill. Money is a huge factor so joining a gym isn't in the cards. I have weights at home and my brother's treadmill. Although as of March 16th I still haven't used the weights but will in April. I want to be below 250 before picking up a weight. I mastered the eating for the most part. Now I want to get the treadmill going than the weights. I am enjoying the journey but the stresses in life always creep up, and set me back. I am very pleased with my progress and look forward to making my final goal weight.
