On The Road To A Healthier Me!
Going down the road to a healthier life. Doing well most of the time and making slow, but steady progress. Not where I want to be yet, but I will get there eventually. 10/3/12 Planning on running a 5k on the 10/13 with my daughter. Not sure how it will go, but hope to do better than the last time! Need to get more motivated.

My Goals:
I have run a 5k, but would like to improve my time. My weight isn't where I'd like it yet. Still have about 20 pounds to go.
My Program:
I try to get in 6 days of cardio and at least 3 days of strength exercises. I have been doing the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. It is quite a workout. I alternate that with other exercise.
Personal Information:
I am a Kansas farmwife. I love to cook and usually have a big garden every year. I can and freeze the produce, so my family can eat healthier food.
