Why Do I Always End Up Starting Over (Aug 2012)

August 30, 2012~I am starting again! I'm so upset with myself for letting myself go yet again! I have gained all of the lost weight back and am totally out of shape again ~ I had built up stamina and strength and now I'm back to square one and every activity hurts and makes me huff and puff. I want to be healthy, strong and sexy for good!

I'm setting a nine month goal to lose 47 pounds by the end of May when we go to Vegas to visit our friends.

Sept '12 lose 7lbs = 210lbs - DONE 9/24/12
Oct '12 lose 6lbs = 204 - DONE 10/17/12
Nov '12 lose 5lbs = 199 (wahoo, back in the ones!) - DONE 11/7/12
Dec '12 lose 4lbs = 195 (I will try to lose more in Dec but I'm being realistic with the holidays) - DONE - 11/24/12
Jan '12 lose 5lbs = 190 - DONE - 12/28/12
Feb '12 lose 5lbs = 185 (wedding weight 9/12/2009) - DONE- 2/1/13
Mar '12 lose 5lbs = 180
Apr '12 lose 5lbs = 175 (almost there - Buy a new bathing suit)
May '12 lose 5lbs = 170 (Trip to Las Vegas!!)

Now I have to create my plan to accomplish this. I need to create a fitness/workout plan and a meal plan.

Lose it for Love! That is my new motto for 2011. I've hit bottom, I lost 30lbs in '09 using SparkPeople and when I got married Sept '09 I fell completely out of all my healthy habits and spent all of 2010 gaining back every pound. I feel horrible, I'm back to a very limited "fat girl" wardrobe and just don't love myself right now. I'm disappointed in myself for letting it all go again after all the work I put into losing weight and getting healthy. I want my sexy back, I want to be a trophy wife again!

Here is my back story for anyone who's curious... I grew up very thin, able to eat anything I wanted and I gained a lot of weight in my early 20's, it just happened so fast (a size 7 to a 14 in about 3 months). I didn't know what to do, I didn't know how to diet because I grew up eating anything I wanted with no weight gain and that's when I started on the weight loss roller coaster and ended up gaining more weight than ever (Highest recorded weight 223lbs) and trying all sorts of unhealthy diets and pills.

SparkPeople has taught me to eat healthy, make smart choices, set goals and keep on keepin' on. My brain thinks I'm skinny and soon I will be again! Now I'm starting all over again but I need help to build momentum and keep it going for life!!!

145 - GOAL!(BMI is 22.8-Healthy)

Now to come up with rewards for these goals...

My Goals:
I want to weigh less than my sweetheart! I want to wear pretty dresses again and see a skinny face in the mirror - I want to feel sexy and confident and not hide behind my bulky sweaters.

I'm following the SparksDiet - tracking my calories, fat, carbs, and protein. Trying to stay low fat - mostly healthy fats and healthy carbs and protein.

Hi cowcutter05, just saying hello after not being on this site much this past year. This past year was a bit challenging for me and I didn't prioritize my health and fitness the way I did previously.
