Going to do it this time!!

I have restarted this journey many times, this is however my second go round with SP. I was losing weight and working out and then we found out I was pregnant with our third child. Between the other two girls, full time MA classes, work and marriage problems SP fell by the wayside... Now, with only 2 months left of my degree, my marriage stronger than ever and 3 beautiful babies I am back and completely ready to make this change. My highest weight has been 252, so I am working down from there trying to get down to about 140. I don't know how I decided on that as my goal but it gives me a number to shoot for until I get low enough to evaluate exactly where I want to be. My wonderful husband got me 6 months worth of once a week personal training sessions at our gym after our daughter was born so that is going to be a big part of my workout program to get suggestions from an expert on what to do when my weight loss stalls (which is normally when I quit....). I also started the Couch 2 10K program, hoping that I can get in good enough shape to do runs with my husband, and not feeling like he is having to slow down because of me.

UPDATE: My gym does an indoor triathalon that my husband and I ran on Sat morning (4/16/11). It is a 10 min swim, 15 min bike and 15 min run. I completed a distance of 9.61 miles. Not super far but it certainly gives me a jumping off point for the next one in November!! Can't wait to see if I improve :)

My Goals:
I want to shave alot of time off my 1.5 mile run time and my 200m sprint. I would like to get my 1.5 mile down to 13 min or lower...

My Program:
I'm just trying to eat better, everything in moderation. I count all of my calories carefully, especially my liquid calories since they add up quick without really noticing.

3x week=strength training
5-6x week= cardio
1-2x week=lap swimming

Personal Information:
I'm originally from TX, met my hubby in Greece, lived there for a year, lived in NH, ME, MS and now VA.

Hey Done Girl -- Happy Spring!! To celebrate the season, I would like to wish you a brand new start, never-ending moments of poise and balance and a joyful tip over on the scale to the side of light. I wish you a new dawn, an eternal youth and a morning star to wish on. Whatever battles you are fighting, whatever stresses may come your way, may they melt away with the winter and may you be granted a time of new light and a new life where your wildest dreams come true.

If you ever need a shoulder, a friend or a virtual coffee at some point, drop by and say hello! I've just celebrated my SP six month anniversary and am amazed at the absolutely incredible amount of support I've received with not only weight loss but life in general. ~ Michelle
