Life is not a dress rehearsal- make the most of each and every day!
December 31, 2010: I've been with Spark People for 8 months and I feel better then I have in a very long time. When I first started my journey I was an emotional eater and only worked out because I knew I should. Now I understand that food only cures hunger and I LOVE working out- it might just be my hobby. December 31, 2010: I've been with Spark People for 8 months and I feel better then I have in a very long time. When I first started my journey I was an emotional eater and only worked out because I knew I should. Now I understand that food only cures hunger and I LOVE working out- it might just be my hobby. I decided to join Spark because I was 30 years old and 210 pounds- I thought to myself- "Self this is what you have done to yourself in 30 years, what are the next 30 years going to be like?" That and also because I had just moved to Austin, TX and it seemed like everyone was in excellent shape. And I was just tired of being fat and miserable. **2010 Accomplishments** • Lost 23 pounds (210 to 187) • Reduced BMI by 3.95 (36.04 to 32.09) • Worked out 7888 minutes • Went from a size 16 to size 12 • Pushed myself to go outside my comfort level • Did not gain any weight during the holiday season ( I actually lost 7 pounds) ***2011 Goals*** • Reach goal weight of 150-155 • Get out of Obese BMI range (32.09) and get into a Healthy BMI range (under 24.9) • Finish a 10K- DONE!! • Earn at least 10,000 Spark Points • Have at least 10,000 Fitness Minutes • Wear a bikini and go out on the Lake with my friends • Get rid of my gut (affectionately called Droopy) • Incorporate running/jogging into workout program • Go indoor Rock Climbing • Jog 3 miles non stop **************************************** ******************************* April 2010: Hello my name is Nikki and I am addicted to food. My entire life I have struggled with my weight and I'm tried of losing the battle. In the past 12 years I can say that I have lost and gained about 100 pounds and that's because I never do it the safe or healthy way. I hit the big 3-0 this year and I told myself it's time to get healthy. So welcome to my Sparktacular Journey!

My Goals:
My goal is to not only lose 60 pounds but to stay committed to a lifestyle change. Stop beating myself up and acknowledge my accomplishments...no matter how small I think they are!
My Program:
Cardio- 3-5 times a week Strength training - 2-3 times a week Stay within my calorie, fat and sugar intake. WATER WATER WATER....and then more WATER!!

• I live in Austin, TX • Single with no kids. • I love to laugh • Recently found out I'm allergic to negativity and drama - so it is not allowed in any part of my life

My Motivation: • Fit into that dress - DONE (NYE 2010) • Look better then my haters -DONE – but why stop now!?? • Go out on the lake with my friends (DONE) • Keep my thighs from rubbing together • Live a long healthy and happy life • Be able to shop at the same clothing stores as my friends • BE EXTRAORDINARY!!
