Joined the 2013 Winter 5% Weight Loss Challenge!

Last Christmas (2011) Mary (my wife) bought me a BodyMedia Fit armband. I have to admit that I really like it, but I did not use it to IT'S potential. Now as a bonus Sparkpeople has joined up with BodyMedia and the two accounts sync. (and it works well so far!!!) I love this because now I don't have to use multiple trackers.

NOW that being said, I have to be more consistent at tracking meals b/c when I do I eat better. ...

NOW that being said, I have to be more consistent at tracking meals b/c when I do I eat better. I have a weekly goal to go to the gym (joined local Planet Fitness) or use my home gym three times per week.

I want to lose 1-3 pounds per week until I reach a better BMI goal. I am thinking between 210 and 225.

A little about me..I am married to a wonderful wife. Have four kids, three girls and a boy. Two dogs, one is eight (rat terrier) and the other is ten months (Tri color English Springer) The one in the pic got sick in Jan. and is gone. Also a rescued four year old black cat.

My Program:
My biggest problem is eating the right food, and when. I have the WORST problem of overeating and closet eating.

GOAL:

30 minutes cardio 5-x's per week.

Weight training @ least 3x's per week.

Training in Kang Duk Won a form of Tea Kwon Do which I am really excited to get back into!

I live in West Michigan, south of Grand Rapids.

1. Become Black Belt in TKD
2. Run a Half Marathon
3. Run a 5K (or more) with my family

I did re-join the challenge and I am ready to rock it out!!! I didn't make it to the gym at all this week due to an unexpected internal audit! And now I plan on drinking the work week away tonight haha so i'll be back on the healthy band wagon tomorrow.

Hope you can keep up with this Spartan, Wolverine... :-p
