I want to lose 30 lbs., for starters. I need to be as fit as I possibly can for my age.

My Program:
Morning

up at 6:00 a.m.
medication & vitamins with lemon water
cup of oats &1tabls ground flax seed & 2 fruits
black tea

walk with Sheldon 9:00 a.m. (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Zumba 9:00 a.m. (Monday, Wednesday)

Noon

pound of fresh vegetables
cup brown rice
1 cup beans
1 fruit
1 cup of green tea

Night

Walk with Sheldon 4:30 p.m.

pound of fresh vegetables with 1 oz. nuts
2 cooked vegetables (1 pound)
1 fruit
1 glass of wine


no food after 8:00 p.m.
bedtime 10:00 p.m.




I joined a group called Trail Dames, and we get out and hike several times a month.

Personal Information:
Just me and my collie at home, since my husband has been in a nursing home. Sheldon, is a great companion, but I still get a little lonely now and then.

Other Information:
I love to knit, and I am a member of spinning group. That is spinning fiber, not cycling. I love movies, books and travel.

Yes the battle of the bulge is ongoing. I have a friend in her 50s who has been the same weight (excluding when pregnant) since she was 14 and is just under 125. Isn't that awesome? But that isn't me, I have to pay a lot of attention in order to stay the same weight, and seem to regularly gain in the fall and lose again as spring approaches, and sure enough, same pattern this year. Although now that I am aware, the swings are not as much.
What are you up to?
