Working on an Even Better Me!

I'm a busy, happy & outgoing 20something year old. While I have been extremely blessed with loving family and friends, I've struggled quite a bit throughout my life with weight issues.

Growing up, I always remember being overweight and extremely sensitive to it. Throughout high school and college I struggled with weight and self esteem issues.

I'm a busy, happy & outgoing 20something year old. While I have been extremely blessed with loving family and friends, I've struggled quite a bit throughout my life with weight issues.

Growing up, I always remember being overweight and extremely sensitive to it. Throughout high school and college I struggled with weight and self esteem issues.

Then, when I was 23, I decided to take action. I joined a gym, starting working with a personal trainer and over the course of a year lost over 70 pounds. I kept the weight off for over 2 years.

Over the last 2 years, however, I have allowed myself to backslide. 5 years after my initial weight loss I have gained back 60 of those 70 pounds and still struggle with weight issues every day.

The good news is, that I am a much happier and more confident personal overall. I know my strengths and weaknesses. I have figured out there's much more to life than how you look.

That all said, life is short and I can't see letting my weight continue to jeopardize a long healthy life with my family and friends. Here goes another weight loss journey...a second chance so to speak...

I never thought I had the ablity to succeed...but it IS possible. Just get out there and do it!
