Time to try again in 2013!!

I joined Spark People in 2011. I was tired of my clothes fitting too tight, it was time to do something about it!! I lost about 30 pounds, Here it is, almost two years later. I have kept off 22 pounds, so I am happy. I am 59 years old, married with a big family. My hobbies include gardening, reading, sewing, quilting, crocheting, crafts, etc. I love to do it all!

Horses are my true love! My first horseback ride was when I was about 18 months or 2 y/o. Ever since then, I've been hooked! I wasn't able to get a horse until about 7 years ago, but they have been some of the best of my life! They are so understanding and giving and patient...unlike me! Whenever I have a bad day, all I have to do is go out and play with them, and it all dissolves. They are a great distraction from eating too! Unfortunately, I tend not to eat enough or right when the weather is good enough for me to go out with my horses. I stay out for hours at a time and eat way too late, but this year I'm hoping to be more organized and conscientious about that.

I guess one day I will go back to the double wedding ring. How do you get it to fit? Even though I have factory templates and am very careful about cutting out, I still end up with pieces that don't want to go together right. I guess I should just work on it and see if I can't get it to fit. Just frustrating when you can do other quilts and get them to work! emoticon

No I didn't change anything...like in some settings or whatever? I just finally started posting a status again sometimes. I'm tellling you I've really been offline here for a long time. And even now I'm barely keeping up. I do agree that it can be too much sometimes. I would rather be quilting LoL.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I was a referee for about 8 years where i mostly did high school and junior college basketball. i realize that they are human, and i also realize when guys are too out of shape or don't have the fortitude to do the job. it was always my desire to be invisible, and protect the players. that did not seem to be the way that these three guys were calling the game. at least three fights almost broke out, because they of their unwillingness to step up and do their job. that's all i was trying to say. Have a great day!
