Ex-Athlete

I've always been the athlete when I was in Highschool. Yet I always was built bigger than the others. In college I played second base and was compared a lot with the smaller girls. Recently my friend and I have decided to diet because we no longer wanted to be the "FAT FRIENDS".

I cut out red meat, pop, and ice cream which I absolutely love, and my friend took up drinking hot teas and green teas. She has lost 30lbs and I've only lost about 10. Seeing her succeed has really ...

I cut out red meat, pop, and ice cream which I absolutely love, and my friend took up drinking hot teas and green teas. She has lost 30lbs and I've only lost about 10. Seeing her succeed has really gotten to me, because she looks so good. Im so happy for her and support everything but it's almost like a slap in the face. I want to feel beautiful inside and out the way I now see her acting.

I suffer from thyroid problems that runs in my family and found out that it drastically influences your weight-loss. Also my aunts and my mom suffer from diabetes, and afraid to end up like that. I dont have the support in my house and im hopeing to find that here.

Thanks for your comment! the road I've taken was certainly not an easy one! I've had setbacks, lapses of motvation and yet I've always been able to pick myself back up.

It took me a couple of months to find a fitness and nutrition groove that worked for me. Don't be afraid to take the time to work it out and good luck!
