Hello - I just realized my message has said the same thing for a year and I'm not new to the site anymore. It's all about the journey - in the past year I have retired, bought a new (for me, it's actually a vintage 1931) house which is keeping me really busy, and gotten involved with a budding non-profit that's also taking some time.
My Goals - I have not lost all of those 55 pounds yet. I am exercising 4 days a week. Back problems have eliminated step aerobics, but I'm walking and doing water aerobics which are great fun.

Fitness Minutes: 120

My Goals:
I would like to lose 55 pounds by June of 2007.
I hope to make exercise a habit 5 days a week.
I would like to keep my calories between 1200-1500 and my carbs between 90-135 (I''ve done this in the three weeks since my diagnosis - fear is a great motivator!)


My Program:
1600 calories, 179 carbs.
I take a step aerobic class three times a week (it''s those other two I''m having problems with!).
I track my food on this site.
Water! 8 glasses a day minimum.



Personal Information:
I am originally from the East Coast but have happily called Oregon home for over 30 years.
I read voraciously and would crochet a lot if I had more time - I currently work full time teaching at our local community college.
