    Have you had a chance to read any articles..?? They even have a acid reflux Spark Team...maybe you could get advice from some of the members.

    I think if you have gotten out and walked, that is a great start even if you just walk 10 minutes at a time.

    The nutrition track is AWESOME too. You can track everything you eat and see just how many calories you're eating and where the calories are coming from.

    And belonging to a weight loss group keeps you accountable so that is a positive thing too.

    To answer your question, after I had to go to the ER because of my blood pressure, my Dr put me on the South Beach Diet. You can get the book at the library if you want to find out more about it.

    Hello, and welcome to the High Blood Pressure team! I hope you are able to find a medication soon that will help you control your BP and not have side effects that bother you. Lowering your salt intake is very important; there is a team here about that also that would love to have you. There is a lot of information here, and online in general, that can help you. Research the different classifications of BP meds and find out what you are taking, what you have tried before, etc. Good luck!
