Summer Holidays Challenge

Hi My name is Charlene and I am 23 years old. I am a teacher and have been with my boyfriend for the last 6 years...In fact we are planning to get married so I will be bragging about all the wedding stuff!
I followed the sparkpeople program from last march and lost 9kgs but unfortunately I gained 2 back. So I decided to start afresh with a new profile and new goals since now it is summer! :)

Hope that someone will find my interesting enough to be my buddy

I sent you the rules in a SparkMail message - it's a LONG message, so sorry for that ahead of time, but in it you should have everything you need if you should decide to do the diet. I swear by it! One of the coolest quotes in the book that i like is : "If you do what you've always done, you will get what you've always got." It's what keeps me motivated - I don't want this life anymore, so I am making some serious and rewarding changes. I'm really glad you're my buddy!

I am doing the 17 day diet which is super difficult, but SUPER rewarding :) Basically there are 4 different cycles and the first cycle is a cleanse/ diet where you eat 2 (all you can eat) lean proteins of specific types (certain fish, certain poultry), 2 (all you can eat) vegetables of specific types (cleansing kinds that help detoxify you), you drink 3 cups of green tea a day, 2 probiotics (live active cottage cheese, low fat - no sugar, yogurt, kefir, etc), and 2 servings of low-sugar fruit (apples, oranges, berries, etc). You can lose up to 17 lbs in 17 days - and I totally believe it. I'm on day 4 and have already lost 8.2 lbs! There are other rules for the 2nd, 3rd, and Final cycle. If you are interested I can send you all the rules in private message. The diet is hard if you find it difficult to exercise self control HOWEVER the thing that I find is with diet's (or lifestyle changes) when you are only losing 1-2 lbs a week it is sometimes difficult to stay motivated. It is happening SO SLOWLY. And with this diet, it keeps you super motivated because you are always seeing huge results and it's so exciting - almost addicting to see the scale drop lbs every day! I am excited to have you as a buddy! I think it will be great for us both to motivate each other and support each other :)
