A New Healthy Me

I'm a mother of 5 daughters and a loving husband. I am constantly busy with work or family which has been my excuse for not following a health plan. I have arthritis which has been my excuse for not exercising. I know I have to start taking better care of myself because I want the energy and health to keep up with my teens and grandkids.

Iv'e tried all kinds of Quick weight loss plans and lost upto 20lbs...only to gain the weight back once I started eating "normal". I realize ...

My Goals:
I want energy.
I would like to be healthy.
I want to stop wasting my life by sitting on a couch after work. I want to live my life to the fullest!

My Program:
I am eating between 1200 to 1500 calories per day.

I am increasing my activity by starting at 15 minutes per day. I know that sounds like so little, but I've not done anything for years so that 15 minutes is challenging to me.

Personal Information:
I live in Ohio. I am a 52 year old married mother of 5 daughters. I still have two girls at home ages 13 & 15. I work a full time job. I have 6 grandchildren.

Other Information:
I like photography, crafts, scrapbooking and flower gardening. I enjoy helping my community by volunteering when I can. This is an important value I teach my children.

Thanks for you comments on my blog and for the friend add. I know exactly how you feel about the scale being mean!!! I'm really hoping that mine will see the error of its way very soon and start moving downward again! LOL! We can both do this, it will just take time and hard work. :-)
