Enjoying Life

I'm a semi-retired married mother of 4, grandmother of 6. Keep busy with volunteer work, workouts at Curves, babysitting my granddaughter, church stuff and whatever is needed at home. Only one grandchild in this area, the rest are in Calif. and NC. Good reason to visit and see other parts of the country.

My Goals:
I would like to get back into some clothes I haven't been able to wear and be healthier, improve my blood pressure and cholesterol levels and have less stress on my joints.

My Program:
I try to work out at Curves at least 3 times a week. It's a good cardio and weight program to complete with stretching in about 40 minutes. I'm not doing so well with modifying my diet but am starting to input my daily eating and that should really help.

Personal Information:
I've lived in Nashville, TN, for 24 years. Grew up in MN and WI. Green Bay Packer and Titans fan. Married for 50years this coming Oct. I retired as a RN case manager 5 years ago but still fill in when needed. occasionally. I love my church, family and friends.

Other Information:
I belong to a book club. We are currently reading "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell.
