I have been trying to lose weight for a long time now. I always seem to lose "motivation". I think I finally understand that this isn't a diet. I am making a life style change to get and keep the results I am looking for.

5.7 lbs. in one week!!! Holy Cow! That is wonderful; I've never lost more than 2.5 lbs in a week. You Rock!

Connie!!! I know it's hard for me to remember to get on and post and keep track of things on here... but I definitely get inspired when I do get on here. Hope you're doing well! We should walk soon! I can't wait for the party tonight- maybe we can set up a time then :) I'm in week one of the couch to 5k and my shins are killing me- but I'm proud that I'm sticking with it. I'm getting excited for June, still not thinking I'll end up running the whole thing, but some of it would be great- just so I'm not last- I think that would be too disheartening for me and I'd never want to do a 5k again. But on the other hand- I'll be proud of us all for finishing regardless! 3.5 miles or something... that's something to be proud of no matter how you do it! Love ya chica! See you tonight! emoticon emoticon
