I'm a 61 year old retired nurse (40 years) trying to become a healthier, lighter, senior. I live with my older sister and two dogs, Andy and Lilly. We have recently started going to the gym and are doing water aerobics and warm water therapy (fantastic!!)

Try to eat healthy, exercise and lose some pounds and inches.
Become more active.
Live life instead of just exsisting.

My Program:
Just started the Sparks program 8/11/2010. Started water aerobics the following day. Started strength exercises the day after that.
I have an exercise buddy, my sister...so have encouragement and support from her.
Still need my new online friends for the same.

Personal Information:
I'm 61, a retired 40years+ RN living near Fort Smith,Arkansas.

Other Information:
I love to read, favorite author Stephen King, but will read just about anything.

Thanks for the welcoming inspiration and good luck on your goal. I need motivation - I have all the tools I need to get to my goal but the one thing that I need to build into myself is commitment! I know I can do it but need to get out of the "slider" mode! Sparkpeople may just be the motivation I need!
