I started Spark back in 2009, and I was super into it. I lost 66 lbs. I belonged to dozens of teams, and had dozens of friends. I also consumed roughly 1200 calories a day. With all the pressure of keeping up with so many people and so many lives, and trying to diet in an un-maintainable way, I sorta faded away, and gained about half of that weight back.
I pause and restart, I've been here in 2011 and 2012, and each time it's easier to restart, because I incorporate so many things I've learned into my every day life. I'm back now, and working again towards a long term healthy life.
Steady, slow weight loss. More importantly, control of my diabetes, with less pills and less worry. More active lifestyle, effortlessly habitually doing more, being more active.
Eating my BMR, and working out. Controlled carbs (not low, just controlled!) Turning my health and weight loss journey into a labor of love.
Some other things that take up my time beside Spark include reading Tarot cards, professionally, gaming (both video games and tabletop RPGs) painting miniatures and other general nerdery, reading, writing, cooking. I want to say gardening, but I really just like having one...my husband and son tend to it for me... I also like animals, a lot. Arachnids, reptiles, and furry critters too. I love tattoos, piercings, and heavy metal. I'm a sixteen year old boy trapped in a 36 year old woman's body.
