I've been on sparkpeople since January 2010 and have only managed to lose a small amount of weight and with that being said, i've gained most of the weight back. My focus disappeared and I thought cheating and not tracking would still help me lose weight... wrong. I have a wonderful and extremely supportive boyfriend that i'm about to live with full time in our newly purchased home, so now is the time to get my butt in gear.

I have struggled with my weight for awhile and I always remember being on some sort of diet to help me lose weight. Sparkpeople has been the most successful and I know I can do it again. I am recommitting to myself and my future. I need to make sound decisions that will impact my life positively.

My attitude towards losing weight and creating a new lifestyle needs to be revamped. My view before was wrong and it would continiously sabotage my previous efforts. If I cheated or indulged, I would forego all the hard work I put in before and just live it up. This kind of thinking spirals out of control extremely quickly.

My new reformed attitude towards weight loss and creating a new lifestyle is much different. It is a lifestyle, meaning it is what I make it. I want to indulge every now and again, and I will do that, but not to the excess I was before. I don't want to feel guilty about the choices I make in terms of food. So I was thinking, that maybe the best way to combat this is to include ONE cheat meal a week. This does NOT mean, one cheat day. It is merely one meal, that is it.

I have a couple weeks to get my lifestyle change back in gear before I move into my house with my boyfriend. I need to be strong now so I can make sound and strong decisions in a few weeks when we're living together full time!

I am DONE being the girl that loses and regains weight. I need to show myself that I deserve this and the changes associated to this lifestyle change.
