I am a 27 year old house wife and mother of 6. I would like to lose weight to be healthier and feel better about myself.

So I thought I would add to this every so often. I have now lost 9 pounds with Spark People. Which I didn't think I could do. I still have a lot more weight I would like to lose. I am working on it. I have been trying to motivate my husband. I think it might be working. Well that is all for now. kk

Today I am actually feeling great! Not sure why. On Thursday my best friend came to visit me. And she told me that I look happier. I said how exactly do I look happier and she said I am not sure you just do. I have gotten a couple of comments on how I look and it feels wonderful for people to notice. I don't see a big change but they all do. I have to say that I am really enjoying this site and the New You Challenge. My Husband has been very encouraging. Which I wasn't expecting at all. Well TTFN!!!!

I have now lost 12 pounds and I feel great!!!! I have told my family members about this site. I hope they at least check it out. I posted pics of me yesterday. Which was actually hard to get myself to do. But they are there now and they will stay.

Ok life has been so busy this last week. I have kinda fallen off the wagon. But don't worry I have dusted myself off and got back on. I haven't gained any weight, but haven't lost any either. When I started working at this in November I was wearing between a size 16 and 18 pair of jeans. I went shopping yesterday and I am now wearing between a size 10 and 12 pair of jeans. What a difference! Well that's it for now. TTFN

I don't know weather I have lost any weight or not this month. I will weigh myself as soon as I can. My son put my scale in the bathtub. And it quit working. I do know that I have lost a little in inches. My size 12 pants are loose on me I Can pull them off without undoing the button or unzipping them. I don't know if I will meet my goal for this month or overall. But I am trying. K that is it for now TTFN!

Okay I went and bought a scale the other day. I weigh 172 pounds, So that is only down one pound for the month of February. But that is okay. I have been working out again. I didn't do so well last month. Everything was so hectic. I did just order a new workout dvd, I am so excited to get it. My friend that I haven't seen for a couple of months said that I look great and she can totally see the change. She is looking great to she has been loosing weight through weight watchers. I showed her this site yesterday. She says it looks really neat. I can't wait to see me at the end of my journey. Well that's all for now. TTFN
