The first step.

I underwent lap band surgery 9/07. I have been successful in loosing 50 lbs, but now find my self struggeling to get back on track after having both of my knees replaced. I recently joined the YMCA, but need to find a good program to keep track of my nutrition and fitness together. I also need support and would like to offer support to others.

Donít say ďI NEED to lose weight, I HAVE to lose weight, Iíve GOT to lose weight.Ē

During quiet time say to yourself:

I canít wait to lose this fat.

I want to lose this weight.

Iím one-hundred percent committed to losing this weight.

I know that sometimes Iím going to fail, BUT I know I will learn from the mistakes and go on, because it will be so enjoyable to live my life like this.

Iíve decided to lose this weight. I will feel so much better, if I make this change. I canít wait to transform my body, so I can wear pretty clothes, so I can feel more attractive. I want to feel stronger, healthier and more alive.

I feel so excited to lose this weight.

Iím 100% committed to becoming thin.

I know if I commit to eating well and exercising, my body is going to transform and Iím going to feel better about myself. Iím going to feel more alive and Iím going to enjoy wearing pretty clothes. Iíll be more confident in social gatherings.
Iím going to talk to myself with love about why this will be such a great change for me.
