woohoo! glad you're back where you were! funny you say you're at 155. that's what i'm at and i'm so irritated! i've hit a plateau and am TIRED of that number. you know what i mean? i haven't noticed any major differences in myself lately which is also irritating but i know where changes need to come in. that being said, thanks for the compliment! but that picture was taken before i even started Insanity! haha but Insanity is a good thing to do if you want to up the muscle--i'm finding that to be a bonus of it since i haven't been having much luck with the weight loss part of it. anyway, keep pushing and you'll get where you want to! 1218 days ago
Hi there! I saw your daily check-in post on the "20 Something's with 25-49 Pounds to Lose" and I had a message I wanted to give you: don't be disappointed in your two pound weight gain! You said you started working out every day, right? I take that to mean that previously you WEREN'T working out every day. In which case, the two pounds showing up on the scale may be false ones that aren't even there. What I mean by that is that if you've changed your regimen and you're pushing your body a little harder your muscles are working more and are getting used to that extra work. Because of that, they get little tears (that's where the muscle pain comes from--so I've learned!) and as they heal it can actually cause your body to swell! You know when you get a cut or something and when it gets a little red during the healing process and the area around it is a little swollen. It's like that but on a larger scale. That being said, try weighing yourself again AFTER a rest day (your body does need at least one in a week) and those pounds may not be there next time!
