I'm ready to do this...for real!!

I've come to the point where I MUST do this...for myself.

Since I graduated high school almost 10 years ago (YIKES!) my weight has fluctuated. Not only did I gain my "freshman 15" in college, I gained the sophmore 15...junior 15 AND senior 15! Plus a few extra pounds since it took me a little longer to graduate! Each year I would lose weight, then I would gain it back, plus extra. However, last year was IT! Stress from school & emotional eating had me tipping the scales at 217 ...

Plus a few extra pounds since it took me a little longer to graduate! Each year I would lose weight, then I would gain it back, plus extra. However, last year was IT! Stress from school & emotional eating had me tipping the scales at 217 lbs, the heaviest I had ever been. Enough was enough...I had to make a change. I joined a program with my family, and it was great to go work out, eat healthy and have that support system all under the same roof, and I did lose about 20 lbs. BUT, I soon slipped away from that program and back into my old eating habits...why? I've JUST realized that each time I tried to lose weight, it was for someone else...a boyfriend, my family, but not for myself.

I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to do it, FOR MYSELF! I'm away from my family, my core group of friends, & no significant other (yet!)..the ones I would normally depend on to shed the pounds. WELL! Not anymore, not for anyone else...it's time for a change in the way I think and go about losing the weight this time. I'm determined to get it off & keep it off.

Hi girl, how you doing? Thanks for the add, and stoppin by my page.. I feel you on the teams you are with.. Leaving 190 and pit stop 190.. When I saw those two teams, I was like. That's whats up.. Get started with the right groups and tools in motivation.. I am also a memeber of the Natural Divas.. I love my natural doo, and I made a promise to never go back.. It's free and it's me..
PLUS! I can move with ease.. No worries about a hair falling out of place or hair appointments.. I did the first cut myself, and then I went to the barber to get another cut and a line up.. I haven't been back.. Growing a fro.. When you tell them. A little off the top.. They take a lot.. When you tell them do not cut your lady burns.. They cut them anyway.. I can't wait for that hair to grow back.. That made my cut look hot.. It's coming back. Slowly, but surely girlie.. I'm loving your style and your swag.. Keep up the good work..

Thanks for dropping by. Although I had my hair cut, it was not shaped, I saw your picture and noticed how smooth it looked, and thought nice. When my good friend came to visit me, she said, it is nice, but not finished - so we went to the barber shop and friend, it made all the difference in the world - I am finished with that aspect, now let me move on to more stuff.

Congratulations for doing your cardio workout today. You got up and did it...good for you. I am about to do my first 30 day Shred workout after I leave this message. Really gotta push myself because...I just don't like to exercise all that much. Maybe that will change as I get in the habit of doing it. I tell myself "just do it" when I start to want to make excuses. Once again, congratulations...you "just did it" today! emoticon
