I'm ready to do this...for real!!

I've come to the point where I MUST do this...for myself.

Since I graduated high school almost 10 years ago (YIKES!) my weight has fluctuated. Not only did I gain my "freshman 15" in college, I gained the sophmore 15...junior 15 AND senior 15! Plus a few extra pounds since it took me a little longer to graduate! Each year I would lose weight, then I would gain it back, plus extra. However, last year was IT! Stress from school & emotional eating had me tipping the scales at 217 ...

Stress from school & emotional eating had me tipping the scales at 217 lbs, the heaviest I had ever been. Enough was enough...I had to make a change. I joined a program with my family, and it was great to go work out, eat healthy and have that support system all under the same roof, and I did lose about 20 lbs. BUT, I soon slipped away from that program and back into my old eating habits...why? I've JUST realized that each time I tried to lose weight, it was for someone else...a boyfriend, my family, but not for myself.

I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to do it, FOR MYSELF! I'm away from my family, my core group of friends, & no significant other (yet!)..the ones I would normally depend on to shed the pounds. WELL! Not anymore, not for anyone else...it's time for a change in the way I think and go about losing the weight this time. I'm determined to get it off & keep it off.

SISTER!!! You can do this....you are MORE than worth it! Our Doctor sister just told me that even if you are not seeing any physical changes, your insides (heart, kidneys, and liver) are saying "THANK YOU!"
