CocoSays...It's GOT ta go!

On a journey to good health with my son (teen) and open to meet others who are on the same road. I have a lot of weight to lose and so many other things to gain...just taking it one step at a time.

Single mom trying to raise a good kid in a world of crazy;
I love life, just trying to get back to a healthy one;
In my late 30's but want to feel and look like late 20's (OK in a real world, I should shoot for early 30s);
Have over 100lbs to lose but my first goal is ...

I believe crying and frustration are great...as long as you laugh and smile more;

You asked about my walking/running in the dark in my yard...Well, it's going fairly well. I have had more rest days in between than I'm supposed to, but it's just hard to have the time. But I plan on getting back out there tonight. When I have the time, and it's daylight, I head out through my neighborhood. Love watching the different things I run across. Mostly, the dogs & horses...most people aren't up yet, so I haven't run across them too much...just a few cars going to work or wherever they are heading. I just hope my body can take it. I'm not a real strong individual, have minor scoliosis, arthritis on top of my big toe joint, osteopenia, not to mention I'm getting older. My mind still feels like I'm 25, but have to realize my body is losing things like bone & muscle mass. Anyway, I bought some new running shoes & I love them. So I'm not giving up yet. So far, the only real problem is I feel achy in the legs when I'm finished, but it subsides after a while; and also experiencing slight nausea at times which is unusual for me, but it also subsides. So maybe when I get stronger, that will stop altogether.
