Firstly, the day wasn't a 'normal' day, so personally I wouldn't be too harsh on yourself about how the day went. I understand that a day can be a difference in the pathway to success but try not to be too harsh on yourself.
It seems for day 3 you are doing a lot - I'm currently day 2 and I eat what I would usually as my first week is mostly get used to tracking fitness and diet every day and make notes when unable to access internet (eg Work)
I'm also doing as much small bites of exercise I can but currently I lack space (I'm moving in a few days so everything's in boxes around the place, I have a toddler brother and 5-6 other in the house (Only a small bungalow)), so today I can't do my whole plan SP gave me but I'm doing all the ones I can do in the space I have.
Secondly, try to focus on the positive things you need as thinking too much about the negatives can cause you to go off the rail.
A few positive things you did:
1. You didn't eat dessert 2. You probably need a bit of walking/jogging around the hospital 3. You shared the meal 4. You eat a healthy breakfast 5. You realised your 'errors' 6. You have the desire to keep trying - You NOT going to give-up!
Everyone will have a 'major/emergency' day on their route at some point - You're lucky in a way it happened during the fast break as this is the time for learning. No-one expects you to jump in at the deep end and make it perfectly through the journey like my username 'Small Steps' are the best way to go.
