I came, I saw, I failed.... time and time again.

Here's a little something about my weight loss struggle... It's the same crap every year....

Jan-March: I'm motivated, excited and in the gym for at least an hour everyday

April-June: I crash. MAJOR crash. I am talking late night eating, no gym, and fatty foods

June-August: Being a lifeguard/ swim instructor keeps me moving at a bare minimum and i start exercising and eating moderately

September -December: Refer back to April-June.

No matter what health condition, physical insecurity, or goals I set IT IS THE SAME THING. I have gained almost 100 pounds in the past 6-years and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. But I am so used to this cycle I don't know where to start....

If per chance you are still looking for easy/inexpensive carry to work lunches.
I had a soft sided cooler which held a couple of ice packs One on top one on the bottom/middle. I would make up a big salad chopping all veggies that I would be putting into the Romaine lettuce. Put them in ziploc bags. Each day I would put the lettuce into a covered bowl.....put the extra veggies in snack size ziploc bags. Dressing into a small tupperware/or plastic cup. Add some fruit and/or crackers.....nuts for snacks. If you like pasta type salads there are a few good ones (shrimp / crab / ham n cheese) Make up a batch and carry that in the lettuce bowl. I liked the idea of making thee things once a week that way I could just grab and go. emoticon
One other thing.........I used to freeze water bottles to keep the lunches cool and than they would thaw and have a water with my meal. Yogurt freezes well too so if you freeze those cups by the time lunch time comes around they will be cold, but mostly thawed.
