Been Traveling Down This Road Too Long!

Happy 2012. I'm up and at it again. Working to make it 130. I first joined SparkPeople in February 2009 and with the exception of a few pounds lost (and subsequently regained) I haven't had much success.

In fact 2011 was particularly bad. I just completely got off my track in October--and by the end of December I had ballooned up to 183?!? What the what? Not even my 2009 starting SP weight was that high--not that it was that far off ( I was 180) but still. I made all these grand ...

I made all these grand promises to myself that I would never see that number again, but I failed myself.

BUT, I'm dusting myself off. Getting back on track and not letting myself stop. I'll be 30 in September and I just can't hit that point in my life overweight.

I'm working to change my weight by taking it one day at a time and not trying to overwhelm myself. So back to measured eating, working out consistently, and upping the ante on my water consumption.

I’m a plopper, too! When I don’t get to plop, I get irritable and crabby, so it’s just easier to get up a little earlier and get the workout done! This morning, for instance…the alarm went off and I thought REALLY hard about turning it off and rolling over…but then I realized that I’d just have to get up in 20 minutes to start getting ready for work anyway…what good was 20 more minutes of lying in bed going to do me? So, I got up and did the Shred! Now, I’ve got the comfort of knowing that when I get home, I can relax! Ahhhhhh!
