I'm back...AGAIN!

I've been on Spark on and off since February of 2006. Recently, I have been using Spark only sporadically. I've lost over 100 lbs in the past 2 years. At my heaviest, I weighed 279 and was a size 24. When I started Spark I weighed in at 265. I have maintained a size 12 for more than 12 months now, but I have battled with the same 10 lbs this year. I'm ready to get the body I've always wanted.

When I started Spark I weighed in at 265. I have maintained a size 12 for more than 12 months now, but I have battled with the same 10 lbs this year. I'm ready to get the body I've always wanted.

The last two years have been amazing. I went from working out in the gym a few days a week to competing in TWO sprint triathlons and a half marathon. I injured my knee in the Houston Half. That put me in rehab for a few months. Then due to work, relationship, and other health-related issues, I have not been able to reestablish and stick to a routine, which is what I need to lose. Things are starting to settle down since Hurricane Ike has passed and I'm getting more settled into my new place and job. I am ready to recommit and refocus...AGAIN! ;0)

I avoid refined carbs, eat high yield, high fiber, high protein foods. South Beachey diet. I workout 5-6 times a week. Swimming, running, and biking.

I saw your weight loss ticker at the bottom of one of your posts and I had to check out your sparkpage. You are such an inspiration to those of us just starting out and those who have been here as long as you and haven't lost the weight. Thank you for the inspiration!
