My Goals:
i recently ran a 10k, and only walked on some of the long hills--i want to run that 10k again, but this time go the whole way!

My Program:
i'm letting the past be the past and starting fresh. i'm trying not to be so hard on myself, but still maintain discipline in the gym and with my eating. WILLPOWER!

I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner. I just noticed your comment on my Sparkpage!

I started out in June. Over the summer, I went to the gym 3-6 times a week and did strength classes and cardio. Since mid-August, I have been doing an abs class, 1 or 2 other strength classes, a cardio class, and then a combination of biking, running, and elliptical each week. I probably work out for about 250 minutes each week. My eating is the main reason I've lost my weight so slowly. I eat chocolate pretty much every day.
I've noticed I lose weight most efficiently when I plan my days ahead of time and include a treat so that I don't overeat. It's also good to have at-home workout options for days that you can't get to the gym (if you go to one). I know that for me, it's hard to work out at home if I don't plan it into my day. I end up on the internet or reading a magazine, etc.
I have a notebook that I made where I keep workouts, nutrition articles, healthy recipes, etc. and I look at that when I feel myself getting lazy.
Try new recipes! There are so many healthy recipe ideas available. Those make it easier for me to eat nutritious food since sometimes eating healthy foods can feel monotonous.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you... it has been a really hectic week, I've had to work full time in school all week, including today!! - and just didn't have the time to be on SP.

Use the site daily and be consistent with your food tracking and exercise. Read the articles for information. Read member blogs for motivation and encouragement.

This is a fabulous site and if you rely on it daily and remain consistent with your program, you will achieve your goals.
