There is no fit...like CrossFit!

I've always been in "OK" shape, but now it's time to get into GREAT shape. I plan on sticking with CrossFit to meet my fitness goals and SparkPeople to meet my eating goals. I have a hard time sticking to a meal plan and getting my target caloric intake. I'll take it one day at a time and keep plugging along.

My Goals:
I want to get my weight down to around 190. I love going to the gym, but my diet hasn't always been the best. It's time to work on everything and get myself in the kind of shape that I know I can be in. I have given myself 6 months to reach my target weight.

My Program:
I'm doing a little bit of everything to get in better shape. My workouts are mostly from crossfit.com and I am trying to hit the food goals that I get from this site.

Personal Information:
I am a Lt Col in our United States Air Force and I love serving this country. I am married with two cute kids (12 and 8) and I get my daily motivation and kicks in the rear from my great Spark friends and the CrossFit team.

HEY! Haven't been on SP forever but popped in today and thought I'd say hi - you may not even remember me from the xfit group haha! Anyway still happily xfitting here and even contemplating a xfit event in September ... we'll see .....

You would be very proud of me- I have been working my emoticon butt off emoticon I will be going on vacation in 3 weeks- I have to lose about another 6 pounds so I can compete with the young girls emoticon

Thanks Coach! I've really been working on the mental aspect of Crossfit since I seem to sell myself short. Luckily my coaches are pretty good at encouraging and pushing when needed. It's nice to have the encouragement when I'm getting into the heavier weights and there is something about the cheer and accolades when you push to a PR.

Tonight is front squats, and since my form is gettins better each attempt, I'm feeling another PR tonight!

Hows the new job going?
