Thank you for the teddy bear goodie. It was surely welcome. And for the link to the sugar free challenge. I signed up and am all in. I noticed VPs note on quinoa. I love the stuff. It basically takes on the flavor of whatever you put it in and it is filling. It is a grain from South America. When I was at my worst these past 2 months, I made lots of chicken soup and instead of pasta, I put barley and quinoa in it and it is very yummy. You can get it at Trader Joes and it is really reasonable. I like red quinoa best.

Quinoa is kinda like a rice with a couscous texture. It's really it's own thing. It's really great for you! High in protein for a grain and fills you up. It's good with lots of ingredients in it and I like it cold or hot. It's worth a try and there are tons of recipes available with it :) 1305 days ago
