I've lost over 80 lbs in 54 weeks. just over a year! Now I am maintaining a goal weight range.

what motivated me to start?-

To Look better and feel better. Ok so really it was mostly to look better. I HATED shopping in the plus sized stores. HATED it! As I started I struggled but once I hit halfway my motivation and DETERMINATION to continue got bigger and brighter.


Always think about what you want, not what you don't want.
Focus on being thin and thinking like a thin person.
I was never meant to be overweight. I truly wasn't

Being at my goal weight for that last months has made a new person out of me. I will never go back. Determination to not go back to the former me is pretty strong right now. I need to keep it burning! I love being thinner , shopping for size 4 and 6's is pretty rewarding. (My wallet might not think so!)

It is worth working hard for ourselves!

Fitness Minutes: 4,077

My Goals:
To reach 130lbs by April or may 2008 -Achieved may 28th /08

to run at the speed of 6mph. ( to be able to keep up to my DH) -acheived May 08

To fit into a size 6 (I'll even be happy with vanity sizing,, ha ha) -achieved without a doubt. wearing a 4/6 May 08

Next goal- create buffer to 127.
Maintain through the summer(and beyond)

Weight watchers.

and now a good cross section with sparkspeople.

Both have great things to them

Personal visualization of my goals helped me to get started. I would and still occasionally do , spend those 5 pre sleep minutes thinking about how my thin self will be. This is a very, very powerful tool.
