I'm a mother of 3 girls ages 10, 11 and 17. I used to own my own work-at-home business. Now I work as a bookkeeper at a research facility. I love reading, (mostly fantasy books - Ann McCaffrey, Piers Anthony,Charles De Lint, etc) knitting, crocheting, scuba diving, and music. I've recently begun learning the Ruby programming language, which is way fun. Because so many of my hobbies are sedimentary, I'm back up to a pre-delivery weight - ugh!! So here I am.

My Program:
So a friend of mine runs a weight loss clinic and I've watched her and her husband become much more healthy over the past year. So I decided to visit her. She has me on phentermine plus a 1200 calorie diet and 30 minutes of walking 3 times a week. I decided to use sparkpeople to help me set up nutritious meals.

Personal Information:
I've lived all my life in Mississippi. I've gone up and down the weight scale a bit, but I usually have no problem maintaining my weight. It's that loosing that I have a problem with. I had two kids within 14 months and have not recovered yet, although the youngest is now 10!!

    I got scuba certified last October. Just need to get the hubby certified and we can go adventure :). Can't wait. I made my fitness and food trackers public so you can see. It'll help keep me honest too :). And welcome to the club. Been trying to loose this excess baggage for about 5 years now. I'm gonna do it this year. Two weeks have seen 8 pounds shed. So I'm anxious to see how long it takes to get all the way to 155 :) If we stick with it we can make it!!

    Your blog said you log your food fairly consistently. Would you consider making your food tracker public? If so, edit your sparkpage and then near the top, it gives option to check box to show your food and exercise tracker if you want. I like to peek in on logs to get ideas of what people are eating... if you don't mind sharing! Keep up the great job!

    I see when you reach goal you reward yourself with a Dive Knife... guess you are a Scuba Diver? I am certified but have not been for a couple years.
