August 2008 - 141 lbs. 11 lbs away from final goal.
My ultimate goal is to look like this. Curvy yet firm & toned.
I was on here sometime ago, and had lost 30 lbs., and since have managed to yo-yo my weight and slowly gain most of it back. It's very difficult knowing I achieved 80% of my goal only to gain it all back and have to fix it all over again. I'm sticking to my guns this time around!
I stay active by going to the gym at least 4 times/week, and cook my own healthy meals at home (eating out at restaurants was the death of me!) but my biggest problem is food cravings, and also suffer from emotional eating.
I plan on running my first marathon in April, so I'm trying to lose as much as possible by then so that it's easier on my joints, and asthma.
If anyone has any tips/tricks/advise please do share, as I am eager to stay on track! I am more than willing to help you out as well.
Drop me a line!
shed 29 lbs, and become firm and healthy. Ideally look like Kim Kardashian as we have the same body type. Most importantly, get rid of my thunder thighs, saddle bags, and flabby arms once and for all!
Cardio: 4-5 per week
Increasing / changing difficulty every 2-3 weeks to avoid a plateau, and to keep things interesting!
Being a Graphic Designer/Student means I spend a lot of time behind my computer screen. Thankfully I love working out, and being active makes me feel like I can do anything. In my spare time, I keep a design blog, spend time with friends and learn about health & fitness.

Hi J! I've been thinking of you lately and wanted to drop you a line to see how you've been doing. I hope you are well.

Phew, sounds like you caught a break at the gym. As you said, you can still write and run. Be careful though! I think my official marathon will be in November. I'm running a series right now that just started in January and goes through November 4. If I do every race up to the marathon, I will do it. If not, my first will be December 4 (Dallas White Rock Marathon). That is 26.2 miles, but with training it can definitely be done.
I invite you to check out or subscribe to my blog on here. Don't worry, I don't post every day. I usually do a post about my races and what is going on in my world of running. Here is a link to my 2011 race schedule.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

The Ladies Without Limits February Challenge. We just finished our first week. But there are 3 more weeks to go. Congrats on your continued weight loss. Mine has been slow but it's moving in the right direction. My back has been quite bad, but I've recently found a machine that has helped reduce the pain immensely. It's called Back2Life. Otherwise, all is good here.

When is the 5k? There are tons of training schedules out there. Find one that works for you. I have yet to run a full marathon. It is on the schedule for this year though. I just started running in June, so I want to take it slow and avoid injury. I ran a half marathon in October, and I think I trained for 8 weeks. The experience was great. It was colder than what I expected, but I learned a number of things about myself that day.
As for inspiring people some day, you are already doing that! Keep up the good work!
