Loving My New Life!!

Hi there! I'm Courtney. I'm married to Matt, a wonderful man that God created just for me! We have three beautiful children: Kenzie, Hailey and Brock. We got married in 2003 and since then, we have both gained about 100 lbs. We have talked the talk since 2007 about losing weight and going on a diet and trying to be better. Hi there! I'm Courtney. I'm married to Matt, a wonderful man that God created just for me! We have three beautiful children: Kenzie, Hailey and Brock. We got married in 2003 and since then, we have both gained about 100 lbs. We have talked the talk since 2007 about losing weight and going on a diet and trying to be better. Two nights ago, as we sat and had one of those talks that could last all night and into the next day, we realized that we weren't actually making a life style change. Which is really what we need to do instead.

So, today we start our entire lives anew. We have been going to financial counseling (side note: if you haven't seen the new Spark Budget site, you need too!) and we have decided to make a weekly schedule for our entire family. The schedule is going to be set to help us deal with many problems including: how much time we spend in God's word, weight loss, my extreme anxiety, our finances, spending time with our children and our marital relationship (both physical and emotional).

God has given us the tools to be able to fix ourselves, it is our job to make use of these tools.

My Goals:
Gonna start with mini goals and reset my weight ticker accordingly.

Goal #1: 280 by July 20

My Program:
Fitness center everyday.

Elliptical = 12 min. Hills lvl 2

Abs = 5 sets of 10 @ 100 lbs.

Back = 3 sets of 10 @ 90 lbs.

Arms and legs vary daily.

Other Information:
Nothing really to tell. Pretty much a boring mom! =)

Thank you very much. Thanks for the encourgament. I do believe in my heart we will make it. It's just the time it takes getting through it. We both love eachother very much. Just celebrated 13 years of marriage two months ago. Thank you so much!

haha, your comment made me laugh. well, the SP people say that if you do that on a regular basis it doesn't count as exercise. i beg to differ!!!! i know my body is used to it, but it does definitely help my metabolism!
