Changing my life!

My name is Christina and I want and need to get healthy for myself and my children. I am ready! Iíve been "chunky" my WHOLE life. I remember the first time being teased when I was around 6 or 7ish. No child should feel that way. Iíve yo yoed up and down most of my life. I topped the scale after my son was born. I was over 200 for the first time in my life and have been that way for over 5 long years! End of last year I broke my arm and I guess the combination of pain meds and depression helped ...

No child should feel that way. Iíve yo yoed up and down most of my life. I topped the scale after my son was born. I was over 200 for the first time in my life and have been that way for over 5 long years! End of last year I broke my arm and I guess the combination of pain meds and depression helped me get to 199.. Not the healthy way.. But since then I have gained some back.. NOT ALL.. I think my biggest was 242ish... I am an emotional eater. I LOVE food and eat, happy, sad, stressed, mad, glad.. lol and enjoy every bit of it.. But later I ALWAYS feel bad. So.... this time I think itís different. My kids need to see an example. I want to be active and show them how to live a healthy lifestyle. Iíve over came soooo many obstacles in my life but getting healthy has been the toughest. So where am I going to start? Well first by getting rid of bad habits and incorporating new healthy habits and by slowly getting to the gym and back into a routine! Wish me luck!

My goals are many! I would like to get a gym routine and get below 200 to start!
My long term goals are to be able to play on that indoor softball team with my sister and loose my belly!!!

My Program:
Portion control and start a work out. (both goals met)
new goal 04/13/10: be mindful of what i put in my mouth (healthier choices)
Get under 200 LBS

Hello I am looking for a weightloss buddy as well. We are very close in weight and both have kids so I thought it might be nice to chat. I am looking to get back under 200 and keep going since gaining weight and not losing much after the birth of my second child last august.
