My Goals:
The doctor told me I needed to lose 50 pounds. I lost 70 pounds then gained 25 pounds back again. Now I'm on a downward trend again, heading back to 152.

My Program:
My sister introduced me to Spark People. Tracking my food and exercise is essemtial, but so is the support I get from other Sparkers!

Thanks for commenting on that controversial Day Four Fatloser blog. Like you I'm generally an upbeat and optimistic person, and I don't consider the "suffering" of weight loss/maintenance to require an excessive price . . .

I'm with you about not eating at the gym: but have to say, I do see others who do!!

And like you I have some foods that "even one" will trigger a problem: potato chips first and foremost!

I have never investigated a possible gluten or lactose intolerance. But I've sure had recurrent stomach aches for the last 6 months. I ate a few strawberries for breakfast, sure made my tummy ache. My father-in-law who had diverticulitis (as I do), said he had to avoid them, so I think I won't eat them again. I love strawberries so much though. I loved potato chips too, and I gave them up, so I guess I can give up strawberries! emoticon

I'm glad that my DD has started to look at what she's eating and making better choices. And that it came from her. More likely to stick this way.
