I am a 60 year old married woman with 7 children and 15 grandchildren. I work full time at a large Home Health Care agency. I love cardmaking and am learning to sew but am usually not motivated to do either anymore.

Hi, I'm so glad you joined the Over 60 Team. I hope you'll come to love it nearly as much as I do. I've been Sparking for over 2 years and have lost around 50#s so far but still have another 75 pounds or so to lose. It isn't easy but the results are so worth all the hard effort. If you have any questions please let me know. I'm here to be your friend and support you in any way I can so we can both lose this weight and feel better as the result.

Hello and welcome to sparkpeople.
I saw that you could use a friend. So, here I am. I hope it is alright that I have added you as a friend....
I am 50 and disabled and I suffer from chronic pain. In fact I am bed ridden at this time, due to an infection in my food and leg. But, I have been doing good at making heathier food choices. I have also been cycling my hand bike. (I am a paraplegic-39 yrs. this summer).
You will find this site to be very informative and there are so many encouraging stories, and people who really care.
Well, you have a friend in me.
