    Yes, I know about the GI and lots of fitnes experts recommend sticking with low GI foods. By doing so, yes, you should naturally be low in carbs. If you track for a few days and still find your carb intake is too high, start by taking out the processed foods, including whole grains and brown rice. Nutrition is the key to weight loss, so no amount of exercise you do can help you get there. My trainer wants me at 40% carbs, 35% protein and 25% percent fat. I'm seeing results with this ratios so I'm sticking with it.
