Clue Queen on a Journee

Let's see how far I can push myself to lose some weight...again! I tend to be quite goal oriented, so this should be fun! I lost weight before joining the military, then lost more during basic training. My husband said that I looked like a crackhead because I was too thin (lol), so I don't want to be too skinny. I gained about 25 lbs after I had my first baby. It was largely due to the stress of the whole thing, as well as dealing with depression during and after the pregnancy. I am so ready to ...

I gained about 25 lbs after I had my first baby. It was largely due to the stress of the whole thing, as well as dealing with depression during and after the pregnancy. I am so ready to change, as it is too hard to carry around 25 extra pounds and still keep up with my baby girl.

My Goals:
I would like to get down to 175 lbs by April. I would like to NOT have to worry about passing the AF fitness test, and I would like to get fine and foxy and in control of my weight before I turn 30.

My Program:
I eat between 1220-1550 calories a day. I work out 6 days a week. I run a 5k once a week and I run on the treadmil, outdoor trail, or the elliptical trainer the other 5 days for 45 minutes.

Personal Information:
I am from Dallas, Texas. I am a part of a radar maintainance crew for a living, so I need to be very agile! I have two daughters, Journee and Dominique, and they are my JOY!

Yes, I know about the GI and lots of fitnes experts recommend sticking with low GI foods. By doing so, yes, you should naturally be low in carbs. If you track for a few days and still find your carb intake is too high, start by taking out the processed foods, including whole grains and brown rice. Nutrition is the key to weight loss, so no amount of exercise you do can help you get there. My trainer wants me at 40% carbs, 35% protein and 25% percent fat. I'm seeing results with this ratios so I'm sticking with it.
