Exercise is a habit that must be developed. Start today. Choose I couple of types of exercise to focus on. Maybe walking, lifting hand weights and restistence band exercise. Or Water aerobics and resistence band exercises. Or Exercise bike and using the circuit weight machines at the local gym. But whatever you choose you want to be exercising for 1 hour most days of the week. Alternate between aerobic exercise and reistence exercises. With resistence exercises you may do upper body one day and lower body the other day and then do aerobics the other 4 days. Take one day off each week to allow your muscles to rest and heal. I have a post called Exercise Checkin on Gastric BP Sparklers. It helped me to develop my exercise habit to commit to posting every day and I had to publicly admit I did not follow through on my commitment to exercise. I did not want to have to post that so it helped me get out and exercise. I found that going to water aerobics (my favorite form of exercise) when I was stressed or upset or depressed helped me get over it. When I was exhausted I found the exercise helped wake me up! I have not posted recently on the exercise checkin do to lack of time so if you need a partner on the exercise habit let me know and I will start posting so that you will know that someone is checking in each day to see how you are doing.
