Hi! just stopping by to see how you're doing. I have been struggling, too. Gained weight the week after Easter and haven't been able to get a grip since then. (haven't been on the scale since then, either) Have been exercising. Are you still going to the gym? Let's get back to the right road on this journey. We can do this. One baby step at a time. I will plan my food day. I will control my eating at the Mother's day "chinese food fest" we have every year. Lotsa company! I will try my best to stay within my calorie range. Let's keep on losing.
Thanks for visiting my page. I have been going up and down in weight all my adult life like a yo-yo and I was tired of it. All I could hear from other WLS patients (including my mom) was how they were so glad they had surgery and their only regret was not doing it sooner. I am glad that I had the surgery and am glad that I DID NOT do it sooner, because I needed to prove to myself through all my failed weight loss attempts (losing and not keeping it off for more than a few months) that I really needed to do something this drastic. I am 33 and have had 4 kids and not having any more, so it was the perfect timing in my life. I see you have done great on your South Beach Diet. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your comment on my page, Caren! You are so sweet! I'm so glad I get to be a SAHM right now, and I know I can use the skills I learned in my masters program to hopefully be a better mother and support Joy as she grows. Being a parent educator sounds like a great job as well! I am sure you'll be able to use those skills to be a great mom when you have that opportunity!
