2/22/14--Now I use Alli (OTC pills) for fat loss and Richard Simmons Project HOPE DVD's. No matter how much I have weighed in my older age, my body fat has always be tremendous. 150 pounds...body fat 39.9% 193...Body fat 39.9%. I always knew I was 'fat' and that I would never look good, if I couldn't lose that body fat. Finally, with Alli, for the first time in 10 years, my body fat is coming down. Within 2 weeks of starting Alli, it was down to 37.9%, then 37.4% and yesterday, 37%. I now have hope that I can get this fat off my body. I take one pill with each meal, eat a low fat diet, control my portions and exercise 6 days a week with Richard Simmons DVD's.
I finally feel good about the program that I am following and feel that this time I will lose the fat and weight and look physically in shape.
Once again, I came back here and it's been almost a year. At least this time, I DID NOT gain weight. However, I didn't lose.
Once I got on Strattera for ADHD about 1 1/2 years ago, my weight just flew up. Not for the first 8 months, mind you, but in the last 4 before my renewal, I gained 23 pounds. sometimes 2 or 3 pounds a day.For a while during this gain, I had to buy a new outfit every single time I went to town! The tops that I bought to wear, wouldn't fit the next time I went to the store, the weight came on so fast.
I knew I wasn't eating that many calories but could not stop the weight gain. Now, I am fighting it, and fighting to find a program, any program that will help!
This time, I am setting a reasonable goal and sticking with it. My goal, is 1.5 pounds a week. I AM going to exercise either by walking one hour or doing a Richard Simmons DVD for 1 hour, 5 days a week.
I don't work, haven't for four years now. At first I was great. Walked 10,000 steps a day, splitting it up between 4 or 5 walking sessions at a time. Then, I just quit.
I keep losing the same three pounds over and over. I feel horrible and trip over stuff because I don't see in on the floor and run into the walls and doors all the time because I just keep getting wider and wider.
Now, it's time to get narrower and narrower. =} 4/5/12
To eat healthy, get at least 30 grams of fiber a day and keep my calories down to 1200 to 1300 a day. Exercise at least 5 days a week, with a weight loose goal of 35 pounds. (195 to 140)
To use the Sweating To The Oldies Series DVD's 3 4 and the newest number 5, Disco Sweat and Party Down The Pounds, 5 days a week. I LOVE Richard. He is the one person whose aerobics I have been able to stick to when I work out.
