CLF's diet

I spent January to August 2006 under treatment for breast cancer: 3 surgeries, 4 chemo infusions, and 35 days of radiation. I started on tamoxifen in August and spent the fall adding weight. Now it's time to get back to fighting trim. I want to be able to ski without getting winded again.

welcome & hello Catherine
It's good to see and meet you here at Surviving Cancer team. Good luck on your goal(s) and I'm here if you need help on this site. Take care and talk to you soon. Stay focused and have a positive attitude will help. I'm here to keep you encouraged and to be supportive.

To STAY MOTIVATED I DO THIS ALL THE TIME:::
1) come in and read the posts
2) read and join any teams that you think you like
3) get it know the people
4) read some articles
5) most of all :: have fun and enjoy yourself
You are doing great, making progress every time you come in.

If there is anything that I can do to help, give me a holler. If I do not know the answer, I will find it. Our leaders are really great and help when you need it too. So don't hesitate to ask. That is why we are here...
Always, ERNA

*** The date on the 1st pic was a good 1 (my birthday) and I have survived cancer 3 times. The last time I had cancer it was on my thyroid and the doctor took it out. The other 2 times was in my private area and got it in time too. It's nice to meet you. I have 2 teams on here should you want to join sometime.***

Hi there. I see that you joined the "Before and After Cancer " team and then the "Surviving Cancer" team and now both of those teams direct you to the "Cancer Survivors" Team! Welcome!! I hope that this combined team will benefit all of us and be less confusing then belonging to several teams. As of Sunday I am a 4 year Ovarian cancer survivor! Please just jump in and participate in the various threads in the Cancer Survivors' Team. Introduce yourself for those who don't already know you from other teams. There is a Chat Room for daily chatting. It's good to have you.

Hi Catherine. Thanks for your comments on my blog entry. Decluttering seems to be a real issue in a lot of people's lives. The junk mail is the most irritating -- just like the spam in the email box. We don't ask for it and we don't want it -- yet it keeps growing and cluttering up our lives.
