My first 5K...March 17, 2012

185 lbs in Sept 2006...I started at 200 lbs in Aug 2006. Alot of ppl don't realize I was here once!

Hi! My name is Iris. In August 2006, I started on my first ever weight loss challenge. I started at 200 lbs and got down to 135 lbs by January 2007. I have maintained that weight loss for the most part, for the past 5 years. I have gained about 20 lbs in the last year. So, now I want focus on getting myself back on track. I will get back to a more healthier weight by running & using P90x. I will add 1-2 other BeachBody programs in the near future. I was a certified personal trainer for a ladies gym for 2+ years, so I took that knowledge with me.
I currently work full-time for Lowes Home Improvement, as a department manager. I also just signed up to be a Independent BeachBody Coach, to inspire and motivate others while achieving my own goals. I hope to inspire some others to sign up as a BeachBody representative or sign up for the discount on products.

3)To run at least 18 miles a week...mostly outdoors.

Other Information:
I ran in my very first 5K March 17, 2012. My time was 31 min and 07 secs!
I ran in my first Mud Run on April 21, 2012. Our time for our team of 4 was 1 hour and 35 min on a 5.2 mile trail with 36 obstacles.
I plan to register in at least 3 more events for 2012.
