Tosca Reno is my Home Girl

I am a 27 year old recovery room nurse. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I was always active as a child and teen, but still a little bigger than most of my friends. I guess, I had a little bit of an athletic build. Once I started college and wasn't going to 2 hour a day swim practices anymore, my weight problem got worse. I also discovered the all you can eat cafeteria, pizza, and beer, jungle juice, etc. Not to mention the late night munchies at La Bamba. ...
I am a 27 year old recovery room nurse. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I was always active as a child and teen, but still a little bigger than most of my friends. I guess, I had a little bit of an athletic build. Once I started college and wasn't going to 2 hour a day swim practices anymore, my weight problem got worse. I also discovered the all you can eat cafeteria, pizza, and beer, jungle juice, etc. Not to mention the late night munchies at La Bamba. (Terrible Mexican food. You should only go when you're drunk!) I gained probably 20 lbs my freshman year and probably another 10 until my fourth year when I decided I would join the Air Force. I was able to drop the 35 lbs I needed to so I could join by following Weight Watchers Online, the Scarsdale Medical Diet, South Beach and Slimfast. I've tried a little bit of everything. Atkins never really made sense to me, though. The "diet" that has really worked the best, is clean eating.

Enter Tosca Reno. The first time I read her book, I felt enlightened. I followed her Cooler 2 to the T for several weeks. I had a lot of success eating clean. I felt better, had more energy, my skin and hair looked better, and I lost weight! So why would I want to eat any other way? You got me!

Since I've fallen off the health wagon, I've gained a lot of weight and I'm uncomfortable in my own skin. I need to get back to being healthy again!

Wow, I think I am the first to leave a comment? So, let me take this opportunity nurse-to-nurse to welcome you! Make a game of sparkpeople , use it to pour out your junk, find virtual friends, and above all have fun!

I have lost TONS of weight and I think sparkpeople ahs kept me on track. I know it can do the same for you. Cheers! Tom
