Hi, I am Claudia and thanks for stopping by!

I joined Spark a few years ago, but finally got active for a good year and a half and in December 2009 I was at my lowest weight 160.5. In 2010 I started running races 5K, 10K and half marathons. During race training I was unsuccessful at balancing food and workouts and gained some weight back, also life got in the way and a move across the country and when I stopped making me a priority I gained some more.

Fast forward to July 2012 and here I am, recommitting and reclaiming my healthy and active lifestyle, one day at the time.

Claudia, I found your page by searching for dragonboat. I was hoping there was a team for it....in any case I was hoping you would answer a question for me. I am just in the stage of considering joining a team. I have gone out a couple of times.

My lower back gets sore the next days. Did you experience that when you first started? I am trying to figure out if I am just not that strong, or if m.b. dragonboat ing is not for my body.
